Udu PG, Uviejitobor Inaugurates Udu Communities Youth Leaders Forum In Grand Style

The Honourable Commissioner for Oil and Gas who also doubles as President-General of Udu Kingdom, Hon. (Chief) Peter Okagbare Uviejitobor, on Saturday, inaugurated Udu Communities Youth Leaders Forum in grand style.

The inauguration which took place at Otor-Udu Town Hall, Otor-Udu in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State, had creme of top government functionaries, captain of industries, UPU youth representatives, community leaders and host of others in attendance.

Performing the inauguration, the President-General of Udu Kingdom, Hon. (Chief) Peter Okagbare Uviejitobor said that the purpose of inaugurating Udu Communities Youth Leaders Forum was to strengthen the unity and strength of Udu at the community level.

The President-General emphasized that the formation of communities youth forum was to made Udu youths united to champion a common cause for a peaceful coexistence.

Hon. Uviejitobor therefore cautioned them not to be carried away with their new assignments, rather he urged them to work in synergy with Ighele (UPU Youth Wing) for the overall interest of Udu Kingdom.

Also speaking, Comr. Igho Onobraekpeyen, Ighele Chairman, Udu Kingdom Chapter stated that the inauguration of Udu Communities Youth Leaders Forum came as a collaboration amongst youths in Udu.

He maintained that there would be no conflict between Udu Ighele (UPU Youth Wing) and Udu Communities Youth Leaders Forum, adding that communities youth leaders at their various communities would assist the central youth body in the Kingdom for quick dissemination of information.

While the Chairman of Udu Communities Youth Leaders Forum, Deacon Kelvin Kpomah who doubles as Special Assistant to Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. (Elder) Sheriff Oborevwori on Youth Mobilisation said that the Forum would work directly with Ighele in Udu.

The Youth Chairman also clarified that the youth forum will listen to elders and leaders of various organs in Udu for the interest of peace and unity amongst youths in the Kingdom.
